These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tektive Solutions Inc website and, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, our services. By using this website, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Our services
Tektive Solutions Inc is a software studio providing website design and development, mobile app development, social media growth services and custom software. The content on this website — including service descriptions and indicative pricing — is general information only and is not a binding offer. A service engagement starts only when we agree a written proposal, scope or agreement with you.
Enquiries and proposals
- Information on this website, including plans and prices, may change without notice.
- A proposal or quote is valid for the period stated in it, and the agreed scope, timeline and price are those in the final written proposal or agreement.
- Timelines are estimates and depend on timely feedback, content and approvals from you.
Payments
Fees, payment schedules, deposits and refund conditions for a project are set out in that project's proposal or agreement. Work may be paused if an agreed payment is overdue, and final deliverables may be handed over after the agreed payments are received.
Intellectual property
Your project. Unless the project agreement says otherwise, once you have paid in full you own the final delivered website, app or design files created specifically for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, know-how and anything not created specifically for your project, which we license to you as needed to use the deliverables.
Portfolio. Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may show the finished work (screenshots, links and results) in our portfolio and case studies, as this website already does for client projects.
This website. The content, design and branding of this website belong to Tektive Solutions Inc or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without written permission.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, content and materials you have the right to use.
- Give feedback and approvals within the agreed timelines.
- Use this website lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, probe or misuse it.
Third-party services and links
Projects may rely on third-party platforms (hosting, app stores, social networks, payment providers and similar). Their availability, pricing and policies are controlled by those providers, and we are not responsible for changes they make.
Warranties and liability
This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tektive Solutions Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. For paid engagements, our liability is limited as set out in the project agreement; where no limit is stated there, it is limited to the fees you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.
